The Crisis
Survival of the Fittest
What if the feelings and drivers that natural selection has built into us, are a trap. A trap that keep us in 'survival' mode, scared, silent, in denial. It's enough to make you sick.
Let's say we had more clarity in to our emotional experience, and expanded our repertoire of responses to stress and danger. What would that look like?
It would look like... having fun at work again...looking out for each other, cooperation, interdependence... like a team.
What did the coach used to say? There is no "I" in "Team".
Would it be possible to get first-responders to evolve to a more 'other-focussed' organizational style?
I don't think we have a choice. It's change or die.
